Mineral oil is effective for the control of pests and mites by contact. It is a contact insecticide- a caricide that controls pests and mites .
Mode of action:
Minos is contact insecticide and acaricide which block the air holes (spiracles) through which insects breathe, causing them to die from asphyxiation. Also, the spread of oil through the respiratory pores and block the insect’s trachea which lead to insect death. Create a thin layer on the insects’ eggs surface where it stops the gas exchanges.
