Active Ingredient:
Imidacloprid 48% SC
Phryni: Imidacloprid is effective by contact or ingestion. It is a systemic insecticide that translocate rapidly through plant tissues following application
Mode of action:
Phryni is a systemic insecticide that acts on several types of post-synaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the nervous system.
In insects, these receptors are located only within the central nervous system. Following binding to the nicotinic receptor, nerve impulses are spontaneously discharged at first, followed by failure of the neuron to propagate any signal. Sustained activation of the receptor results from the inability of acetylcholinesterases to break down the pesticide. This binding process is irreversible. As to its performance good reliable control, high selectivity, quick knock down, protection and long residual activity are key features
Product properties:
- Phryni has a broad-spectrum effect to control several types of plant pests using the lowest dose. Such as sucking insects, some chewing insects including termites, soil insects.
- Phryni : Has a long lasting control.
- Phryni : Controls insects which become resistant against other pesticides.
- Phryni absorbs quickly inside the treated plants and has a great rain fastness.
- Compatible in IPM Program
