A systemic fungicide with protective and curative activity against a broad spectrum of diseases in fruit, vegetables and other crops. It controls many pests, like: Scab, Powdery mildew, Gray mold, Leaf spot, Rusts, Root rots. It can used in many crops; Apples & pears, Cucurbits, Soybeans Peanuts, Pecans, Garlic & onions, Almonds, Strawberries, Grapes and Tomatoes.
Mode of action:
Apocalypse contain Thiophanate-methyl 70 % WP, a member of the class of thioureas that is the dimethyl ester of (1,2-phenylenedicarbamothioyl) biscarbamic acid. A fungicide effective against a broad spectrum of diseases in fruit, vegetables, turf and other crops including scab, powdery mildew and gray mold. It has a role as an antifungal agrochemical. It is a member of thioureas, a carbamate ester, a benzimidazole precursor fungicide and a carbamate fungicide.
Thiophanate Methyl is absorbed by plant tissues and translocated to different parts, where it inhibits fungal cell division by disrupting mitosis. This systemic action provides both preventive and curative effects, protecting plants from infection and halting the progression of established diseases.
