Benefits of Algaefol:

COMPATIBILITY:
Algaefol is compatible with most insecticide, fungicides and fertilizers. When interaction is unknown, a "jar" compatibility test is recommended.
Uses and Recommendations:
General recommendations:
foliar application:
Algaefol is used at rate of 100 mL / 100 L. and repeated as follows:
1st Spray in early stage.
2nd Spray before flowering or fruiting.
3rd Spray 4 weeks before harvest.
Optional: Additional spraying in case of plant stress through heat, heavy rain fall, drought or use of pesticide or herbicide.
Algaefol for turf, lawns & golf: 500ml /acre, repeated every 2 weeks.
Seed treatment:
Algaefol is used for potato, Onion etc. at the rate of 2ml for seeds dressing treatment per 1 L.
Specific recommendations:
Rice (direct seeding)
-Dip seeds in Algæfol solution before sowing. Use Algæfol Solution at 1:500 dilution (16ml/8 liters of water).
-Spray Algæfol solution 14 - 35 DAYS. Use Algæfol solution at 1:200 dilution (40ml/8litres of water). Require 2-3 liters Algaefol per ha.
Rice (transplanting)
- Apply Algæfol solution to seedling bed after emergence.
Use Algaefol solution at 2ml/1m2
-Apply to seedling bed 3 days before transplanting at 2ml/1m2
-Spray Algæfol solution 14 - 35 days after transplanting.
Use Algæfol solution at 1:200 dilution (40ml/8 litres of water).Require 2-3 liters Algæfol par ha.
Melon, Cantaloupe, Sweet melon, Watermelon
-Dip seedling tray with seedling in solution, immediately before transplanting. Use Algæfol solution at 1:100 dilution (80ml/8 liters of water).
-Spray 14 21 days later. Repeat the 2nd and 3rd spray at 14-21 days interval. Use Algæfol solution at 1:100 dilution. Require 2 liters Algæfol per ha.
Flowering and ornamental plants:
-Soak the soil with 100 ml Algæfol solution around the seedling shortly after planting out. Use Algæfol solution at 1:100 dilution (80ml/8 liters of water).
-Spray at 14 days after planting out. Repeat 2-3 spray at 21 days interval. Use Algæfol solution at 1:L200 dilution (40ml/8 liters of water).
Vegetables:
-Dip seedling tray with seedling in solution before transplanting Use Algæfol solution at 1:100 dilution (80ml/8 liters of water).
-Spray 14 days after transplant and repeat application 14- 21 days later. Use Algæfol solution at 1:100 dilution. Require 2 liters Algæfol per ha.
Tomato & pepper:
-Dip seedling tray with seedling in solution before planting out Use Algæfol solution at 1:100 dilution (80ml/8 liters of water).
